Notes from the PALS Board Meeting Minutes, May 8, 2008:
Peggie Kimberlin mentioned the resident who won $5,000 and wants to donate it to the parks system and thought that was very nice.
Jack Jones - Bakersfield Park South Entry is one of the projects that is high on the Town Council's priority list because the extension of Spinks Road has been designed going from Garden Ridge across Bakers Branch into the Service Center by Duncan Lane and they are working on the portion that goes into Bakersfield Park. So while this might not have been high on the list of the Board, it is a priority of the Council.
The next PALS Board meeting is scheduled for June 12, 2008.
Comments: I'm excited to hear that the Town Council considers the road extensions to be a priority because the actual work on the WCR master plan can not begin until the roads into the park, Garden Ridge and Spinks, are completed.
