$5,000 Grant from Pantene!

I entered the Pantene Beautiful Wishes contest and won a $5,000 grant to go towards nature education for kids to be placed in a local park.

I've had several conversations with the PR contacts for Pantene and even had a conference call between them at the Parks Development person for our town. Exciting things are to come!

This blog was created to keep the public informed of the progress being made on the development of the all-inclusive playground that will be built on the Wilson, Carmel, Ruff tracts in Flower Mound. We envision a wooden fort-like playground that is all-inclusive, handicapped accessible and includes educational stations throughout the playground to teach children about nature, birds, animals, recycling, and their environment. Research shows that children need to spend more time in nature and playing outdoors so I also include information on these issues as I run across them.
