PALS Board Meeting, February 28, 2008

Notes from the PALS Board Meeting Minutes, February 28, 2008:

Jack Jones gave a presentation about the recommendations made by the Community Development Corporations (CDC) at their meeting on February 20, 2008. One of the items he mentioned was that they approved the demolition of the structures and clean-up of the Wilson and Carmel Tracts.

The next PALS Board meeting is scheduled for March 13, 2008.

This blog was created to keep the public informed of the progress being made on the development of the all-inclusive playground that will be built on the Wilson, Carmel, Ruff tracts in Flower Mound. We envision a wooden fort-like playground that is all-inclusive, handicapped accessible and includes educational stations throughout the playground to teach children about nature, birds, animals, recycling, and their environment. Research shows that children need to spend more time in nature and playing outdoors so I also include information on these issues as I run across them.
